Honest Health started in 2014 based on the supplementation journey of Heidi Schmidt. Heidi noticed the impact diet had on her health and then saw the impact some mineral supplements. She especially noticed that supplementation worked best with a balanced diet and regular exercise. Heidi's experience became apparent to those around her and people started to enquire what is causing the improvement. The numbers of enquiries has increased which has resulted in a team gathering around her vision for healthy lifestyles being optimised by naturally sourced mineral supplementation.

Heidi resides on Auckland's North Shore in New Zealand with her husband and three children. Honest Health's Head Office located nearby is also based in Auckland.

Natural Environment of New Zealand
Heidi's family also value the lovely clean green environment in which they live. Plenty of beaches, mountains, untouched bush, fiords (in Southland), mineral and thermal pools (in Rotorua) and alpine lakes to enjoy. In fact one of 'The Schmidt's' favourite camping holiday locations is north of Auckland at Ruakaka Beach, Northland. Any time of the year the flora and fauna are plentiful due to plenty of gorgeous sunshine with plenty of clean rain. New Zealand's unique wildlife is also a delightful treat - in particular the iconic and shy Kiwi (a nocturnal flightless bird), the mischievous Kia (a type of parrot) or Tuatara (a lizard-like reptile whose species was around when dinosaurs were)!

Sports in New Zealand
New Zealand's rugby team All Blacks Heidi and her family particularly enjoy supporting. Many a Saturday evening is spent with family and friends watching a match!
